Adam M. Hughes, age 34 of Lake Station passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022.  He was born on January 4, 1988 in Merrillville, Indiana.  He graduated in 2006 from Kouts High School and then went on to achieve his Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Indiana in 2011.  Adam worked as a Business Analyst for CommScope.

He is survived by parents,  Roy and Blanche Hughes of Kouts, IN;  one sister, Kristi (TJ) Ferraro of Seneca, SC; grandmother, Janet Kaletta of Portage, IN; two nephews, Korbyn and Drake, and one niece, Temperance, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Portage.   (219) 762-3013.    A celebration of life service is being planned for a later date.
