Agnes "Maidie" Colglazier

Agnes "Maidie" (nee Barth) Colglazier, age 89, of Portage, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017. She was born on July 4, 1928 in Utica, New York. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Maidie is survived by her son, Curtis (Lea Ann) Jones; daughter, Louise Brook; brother, Carl Barth; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Colgazier.

A funeral service for Maidie will take place Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 p.m at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.
