Agnes (nee Horvath) Wozniak

Age 85 passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Life Care Center in Michigan City. Agnes was born on March 7, 1939, Lynch, Kentucky to the late Louis and Susan (nee Kiss) Horvath. Agnes enjoyed various leisure activities, including bird watching, reading, baking, gardening and enjoying the company of cats.

Agnes is survived by her four loving children, Angela (Kevin Kerlin) Byroad; Robert Wozniak; Thomas (Jay Brooks) Wozniak and Sandra (Jesse) Walker; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Sarah) Byroad, Jennifer (Arron) Knisley, Rachelle Walker, and Jenna (Ray Billens) Walker; ten great-grandchildren, Addison, Jayce, Ryne, Lexi, Evan, Oakley, Lola, Keanan, Freya and Charolette; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 yrs. William "Junior" Wozniak Jr.; her parents and brothers and sisters, Helen Longmire, Mary Wegeeser, Louis Horvath, Frank Horvath, Frances Katsimpalis, and Theresa Horton.

A funeral service for Agnes will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana. Burial will follow at Calvary, Portage, Indiana. Visitation will also be held Friday, November 22, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of service.
