Alan Donald Beckler, age 81, of Portage passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at his home. He was born on June 3, 1942, in Washington D.C. Donald proudly served his country for 35 years in the United States Airforce. Later in life he worked in the produce department at Wise Way in Hobart until he retired. He will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, and his magnetic personality. He had so many friends around the world, people adored him. He enjoyed spending time playing rummy with his friend and neighbor Patricia Zepeda.

Alan is survived by his two sons, Matthew (Ann) Beckler and Jesse Beckler; friend, Patricia Zepeda, and numerous other loving friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
