Albert T. Mason age 69 of Hobart passed away Sunday July 13, 2014 at the Vibra Hospital in Crown Point, Indiana. Albert was born June 20, 1945 in Houston, TX to the late Albert and Clara Mason. Albert was a retired train attendant for Amtrack with 34 years of service. Albert loved playing football, basketball and tennis. Albert is a member of the Family Christian Center in Munster. He was a graduate of the University of Southern California.

Albert is survived by his loving wife E. Atossa Mason; one son Damion (Marie) Mason of Swindon, England; one step daughter Chrissy Michele Carnell; his sister-in-law Gracie Christmon; and many beloved friends.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Andrew Christmon and Ernest Vannorsdell.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday July 19, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road with Pastor Jim Utley officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
