Albert C. Stoddard, age 91 of Portage, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025. He was born on September 10, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Albert and Gladys Stoddard. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. On November 25, 1978, he married Tonianne Carney in Gary, Indiana. He retired from Levin Tire where he worked in retail sales for 15 years. Al was a dedicated member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in South Haven. He loved his family and his Savior. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed golfing in his free time.

Al is survived by his beloved wife, Tonianne (nee Carney) Stoddard; daughters, Barbara (Willilam) Griffith, Teresa (Sam) Miceli, Lora Hutchens; sons, Shane (Sondra) Stoddard, John Britzke; grandchildren, Michael (Lindsay) Griffith, Jessica Englehart, Jennifer Englehart, Chad (Christian) Hutchens, Scott Morris, Kathryn (Joe) Markham, Grant Britzke, Shay (Ryan) Borys, Sheena (Josh) Saranita, and Shawn Stoddard; 12 great grandchildren; and many loving church family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Gladys Stoddard; his daughters, Katherine Silveria and Debra Englehart; brother, Gregory Stoddard.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 760 McCool Road, Valpo. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am with Rev.
