Alexandria M. Harper

Alexandria Marie Harper, age 26, of Walkerton and formerly of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. She was born on July 26, 1990 in Valparaiso to Christopher Harper and Valerie Lemanski-Brownlee. Ali was an animal lover and devoted her time to rescuing dogs. She liked country music and spending time outdoors. Above all, she loved her children and cherished the time she spent with them. She was a kind, smart and loving mother, who will always be remembered for her vibrant personality.

Ali is survived by her mother, Valerie (Charles Brownlee Jr.) Lemanski-Brownlee; father, Christopher (Jennifer Randolph) Harper; sons, Julian Lee Cruz, Elijah Alexander Cruz; daughter, Isabella Victoria Cruz; wonderful brother, Anthony (fiancée, Carmen Daugherty) Lemanski; sisters, Hannah Harper, Kaitlin Harper; maternal grandmother, Vicki Lemanski; paternal grandmother, Candice Lowman; uncle, Henry Lemanski; favorite auntie, Angela (Edward) Sajdera; special cousins, Edward Sajdera, Matthew Sajdera; special friend and father of her children, Gustavo Cruz-Mendez; many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and wonderful papa, Warren Lemanski. Memorial contributions in Ali's name may be made to the family to help pay for education for her children.

Visitation for Ali will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
