Alfreda M. Lesniak, age 93, of Crown Point, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019. She was born in Gary, Indiana to the late Frank and Anna Lesniak. She was a 1943 graduate of Froebel High School. She worked as a retail clerk for H. Gordon & Sons as well as Meadows Apothecary for many years. Alfreda was a dedicated member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

She is survived by her nieces, Julie (Tom) Urick, Barbara Frankowski, Dr. Linda (Rev. Mark Kraii) Lesniak, Karen (John) Jacobs, Andrea (Frank) Schaffer; nephew, James Lesniak; sister-in-law, Caroline Lesniak; and several loving great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Lesniak; brother, Stanley Lesniak; two sisters, Helen Frankowski and Jane Metz; niece, Elizabeth Reeley.

A graveside service for Alfreda will take place Monday, September 30, 2019 at 12:00 pm directly at Calvary Cemetery, 2701 Willowdale Road, Portage.
