Alvin Richard, age 63, a longtime resident of Northwest Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He was born on September 10, 1947 in Louisiana the son of Bishop Ivy Richard and Marjorie Mognon.
Alvin is survived by his loving family; wife Rose (nee Cittadino) Richard, son Anthony Richard Jr., daughters; Amelia Richard, Toni Richard, Dominique (Todd) Keil, brothers; Ivy J. (Pamela) Richard Jr. and Kenneth Magnon, sisters; Pastor Janie Espinoza, Linda (Alcia) Touchette, Gretta Richard, Marion Richard and Denise (Mike) Edwards and other loving family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; father; Bishop Ivy J(Mary) Richard Sr., mother Marjorie Mognon
A visitation for Alvin will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 2:00 –8:00pm at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 2,2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.Memorials in Alvin's memory may be made to the Richard family.
