Angela Faye "Angie" Purcell

Angela Faye Purcell "Angie" passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was born on February 24, 1972, in Valparaiso to Franklin D. Westmoreland and Thelma J. (nee Oakley) Denton. Angela was a fun-loving spirit who enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and spending time around a warm campfire. She loved going to car races with her late husband Randy, a pastime they shared with joy and excitement. Angela valued good times, good company, and making memories with people she loved. She will be remembered for her adventurous heart, her laughter and the happiness she brought to those around her. Angela will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Angie is survived by her son, Terry (Melissa) Lewis Jr.; two grandchildren, Zeke Lewis and Juliet Lewis; mother, Thelma Denton; brother, Frank (Candice) Westmoreland; sister, Christina Mae Stoltzfus; nephew, Zackery Westmoreland; two nieces, Amber Westmoreland and Ashley Stoltzfus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Purcell and her father, Franklin D. Westmoreland.

A funeral service for Angie will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
