Angela Nicholson

Angela Nicholson, age 39, of Portage passed away Friday June 26, 2020. Angela was born December 27, 1980 in Gary, Indiana to Bernard and Elizabeth (Perez) Schwei.  She was a cook that worked for several area restaurants including On The Roxx.  She was a loving mother, daughter and sister.

Angela is survived by her two loving daughters, Kayla Renee Nicholson of Lafayette and Jessie Lee Nicholson of Lake Station; her mother, Elizabeth Dickerson of Groveland, FL ; one brother; John Schwei of Chesterton; one sister Heather Perez Of Clairmont, FL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bernard Michael Nicholson; her father, Bernard Schwei; and stepfather, William Thomas Dickerson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday July 3, 2020 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368.  Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service on Friday at the Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow.
