Angeline "Angie" Ames, age 85, of Hobart passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. She was born in Peru, Indiana on March 19, 1929 to the late Guy and Margaret Martino. She was a graduate of Hobart High school class of 1947 and Beauty School year 1950. Angie spent a lifetime of dedication to Paul's Place until it closed in 2011. She will be remembered for her generosity and the goodness of her heart.

Angie is survived by her children John (Genny) Scott of Monticello, IN, Beth Barney, Margee (Steve) Salisbury, and Barb (Nick) Scott all of Hobart, IN, Cheryl Roper of Lake Station, and Robert (Deb) Ames of Hobart; Daughter in law Rose Ames of Portage IN, sister in law Jeannette (Ken) Richhart of Carmel IN.; 15 Grandchildren, 32 Great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Ames, Sr., parents, daughter Joni Scott, brother Frank Martino, son Paul Ames. Jr. and longtime friend Bill Busch.

Memorial contributions are preferred to the Hospice of the Calumet Area, 600 Superior Ave. Munster, IN 46321.

A funeral service for Angie will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Hobart with Rev. Lourdu Pasala officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Cremation will follow with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation service, Hobart, Indiana,
