Anita Kay Kuske (nee' Sanders) passed away in her home at the age of 65 in Hammond, Indiana on July 16, 2023.

She was born to Juanita Mae Sanders (nee' Taylor) and James William Sanders in East Chicago, Indiana on April 9, 1958. She attended Roosevelt High School in East Chicago prior to marrying her first husband, Michael Kuske, in 1977 (divorced in 2000).

She is survived in death by her estranged family members including her two children Michael (and wife Trista) and Megan Kuske, her brother and sister-in-law Charles and Darlene Sanders, her nieces Leslie and Taunya Sanders as well as her ex-husband Michael Kuske, long-term boyfriend Dan Stepanovich, and four biological grandchildren that she unfortunately had no contact or relationship with.

She lived in East Chicago, Indiana throughout her childhood and spent most of her adult life in Hammond, Indiana where she loved her house plants, dabbling in hobby gardening, and gossiping with her friends. She is preceded in death by her father James, mother Juanita, and uncle Junior. She is to be cremated and placed to rest near her mother's plot in the Elmwood Cemetery of Hammond, Indiana.
