Ann D. Atwell, age 75, of Hobart, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at St Mary's Medical Center. She was born on February 13, 1942 in Central City, Kentucky to the late Marvin and Ruth (nee Wilkins) Oglesby. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by three daughters, Pam Smith of North Judson, Danette Batson of Sullivan, Missouri and Cindy (Brian) McClellan of Hobart; three grandchildren, Daniel (Chrissy) Batson, Lyndsey McClellan and Brian McClellan Jr; three great-grandchildren, Grayson, Keane and Preslei; brother, Dewayne (Robin) Oglesby of Hobart; sister, Barb Coleman of Hobart; many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Atwell ; her parents; grandson, Robby Batson; two brothers, Ben and Phillip Oglesby and two sisters, Janetta Daniels and Theresa Wherry.

A funeral service for Ann will take place Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are preferred to Ann's family.
