Ann M. Jackson "Miss Ann", age 78, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Aperion Care in Valparaiso.  She was born in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 23, 1939 to the late Owen and Ruth (nee McDermott) Feldt. She was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Hobart and Barrington Ridge Baptist Church in Hobart. Ann was employed for the City of Hobart School System for 48 years.  In 1965 she began working at Foreman School, then worked for 22 years as a Bus Driver, ending by volunteering at Ridgeview. Ann will be remembered for touching the lives of hundreds of children.

Ann is survived by her children, Terry (Linda) Jackson,  Betty (Jim) Dowdy, Jody (Jessica) Jackson; grandchildren, Tina (Chris) Hartfiel, Mark (Jenny) Jackson, Ryan  Jackson (Mailee Martin), Brittany (Frank) Bestich, Jamie Dowdy (Kaydence Davila), Aaron Jackson; great grandchildren, Jordan, Jayson, Keagan, Carter, Hailey, Zachari ; sister, Betty O'Brien; and brother, Butch (Judy) Feldt.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Raymond S. Jackson; grandson, Steven Jackson; long time best friend, Pat Keith; and her parents.

A funeral service for Ann will take place Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd.
