Obituary

Anna "Bobi" Bojko, age 94 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, June, 6, 2012. She was born in Poland on December 3, 1917. She worked as a baker at the Glen Park Bakery and was a member of the Polish National Alliance. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anna loved gardening and had a green thumb. She was a wonderful cook and baker and will be remembered by her family for her delicious pierogi's .
She is survived by 1 daughter, Krystyn "Tina" Replin of Portage, IN; 4 grandsons, Michael (Penelope Boumis) Replin, Deron Replin, Marc (Tammy) Replin, Kristopher Replin, 10 great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Rhiannon, Michael II, Cameron, Kaira, Emma, Brady, Tyler, Ana, and Jason, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Julia Hutnik, her husband, Michael Bojko, 2 young children, and 1 son-in-law, Dennis Replin.
Funeral services are Monday, June 11, 2012 beginning with 10:15 a.m. prayers at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart and proceeding to the Salvatorian Fathers, 5755 Pennsylvania Street., Merrillville for a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Visitation is Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a 4:30 p.m. prayer vigil at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
