ANNA GOOD (GOTTSCHLING), age 96, of Portage, and formerly of Hobart, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014. She was born in Gary on August 1, 1917 to Samuel and Sarah Gottschling. Anna was employed for over 20 years at Wonder Bread Bakery and then as a donut maker at Corey Bros. Bakery for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Saxon Lodge, Branch #40. Anna will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Sally (Larry) Brown of Hobart; 2 grandchildren, Greg (Diane) Mackey and Mike (Wendy) Mackey; 1 step grandson, Larry Brown; 2 step great grandchildren; 3 step great great grandchildren; sister, Marie Szostek of Hobart; other loving family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Good; her parents; 3 brothers, Samuel, Mike, and John Gottschling; 2 sisters, Helen Poylak and Jean Harris.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

A memorial visitation for Anna will be Friday, May 23, 2014 from 3:00- 4:00 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., with a Ladies Saxon Service at 3:30 p.m. and a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles R. Strietelmeier officiating.
