Anna "Grace" Iwan

Anna "Grace" Iwan, age 60, of Gary passed away Saturday August 10, 2019 at the St Mary Medical Center in Hobart.  Grace was born November 11, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to the late William and Vivian (Stokes) Petri.  She was a secretary working for MGM Automotive.  Anna loved life, riding Motorcycles and attending Railcats games.  She was a member of the Fraternal Order Eagles Aerie #2413 Ladies Auxiliary.

Grace is survived by her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Mike Iwan; Four brothers, Mark (Kelly) Petri of DeMotte, Jerry Petri of Gary, Allen Petri of South Haven and Ricky Petri of Gary; two brothers-in-law Bernard (Linda) Iwan of Valparaiso and Marion (Brenda) Iwan of Portage; one sister-in-law Monica (Joe) Mielczarck of Santa Paula, CA; her special friend, Debby Brodrick; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Benita Kay and Sharon Hunter;  brothers; William Petri, Jr., Larry Petri, Ronald Petri, Kenny Petri and Dennis Petri.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Thursday August 15, 2019 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.  Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace's family.
