Anna Elizabeth Lunghofer, 85, of Lake Station passed away January 29, 2024.  She was born February 5, 1938, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert and Clarinda Miller.

Anna married Kenneth Lunghofer and they were together until his passing in 2013.  She worked as a mobile equipment operator with Bethlehem Steel, retiring from there in 1998.  In her spare time Anna enjoyed crocheting and playing BINGO at the American Legion Post 100.  Above all she loved her children and grandchildren and will be missed greatly.  Anna is now at peace after living with Alzheimer's for the last 15 years.

Anna is survived by her son, Mark (Jennifer) Lunghofer; daughter, Tina Lunghofer; grandchildren, Matthew, Margaret, Kristopher, Kenna, and honorary grandson, Alan Goodyear; great grandson, Finn; and brother, James Miller.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kenneth, Anna was preceded in passing by brothers, Robert "Sonny" Miller, and Kenneth Miller; sister, Lola Miller; and sisters-in-law, Maria Miller, and Rene Miller.

A visitation will take place from 12:00pm – 1:00pm Saturday, February 3 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342; the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
