Anna-Marie Endwright Dixon passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at Porter Regional Hospital from a massive heart attack and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. Anna-Marie was born June 12, 1944 in Bloomington, Indiana to the proud parents of John Endwright and Martha Ann Fiscus Endwright, the oldest of three children. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Johnna Sue; brother, Randy and her grandparents. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Dixon; daughter, Lea Bell and granddaughters, Samantha and Emily Bell. Also surviving are her special nieces and nephews, Clint, Angie, Sara Beth and Adam; her special sister-in-laws, Nancy and Joan (LeRoy) Becker and great nieces, Elysia, Yesenia, Angelica and Peyton along with her wonderful circle of friends. Anna-Marie graduated from Bloomington High School and received a degree in Dental Hygiene. Anna-Marie was a member of the IU Varsity Club, the Indiana State Dental Association, Porter County Drunk Driving Task Force, and the Porter County Substance Abuse Council. She was an avid bridge player and community volunteer, but family and friends always came first with Anna-Marie. She was a special lady who was devoted, faithful, loyal, passionate, caring, honest and fair to all who knew her. There will be a celebration of Anna-Marie's life Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Innsbrook Country Club, 6701 Taft Street Merrillville, IN 46410.
