Anthony Charles Bowman

Anthony Charles "Tony" Bowman, age 38 of Hobart went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 6, 2025. He was born on March 26, 1987, in Merrillville, Indiana to James and Sandra Bowman. He was ambitious with a brilliant mind. Anthony was a collector of many things and loved hunting for treasures. He enjoyed fixing things to bring them back to their former glory. He loved fishing and the great outdoors. He loved indie music and was very competitive in bingo, bowling, and darts. Above all, he adored his daughter, Ryleigh. Anthony was a charismatic man and he will always be remembered for his passion for life.  After his fierce battle with cancer, he is now rejoicing in his eternal home in heaven.

He is survived by his daughter, Ryleigh Bowman; his fiancée and the love of his life, Nicole Birmingham; father, James Bowman; brothers, Brian (Brittany) Bowman, Kevin Bowman; nephew, Chase Bowman and niece, Ella Bowman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Bowman; grandparents, Charles and Betty Bowman, Mike and Joan Gregor; and great uncle, Vern Utterberg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Anthony's name may be made to Riley Hospital for Children, 705 Riley Hospital Drive, Room 4510, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
