Anthony "Tony" Springman, age 94, of Valparaiso passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at his home. He was born December 20, 1919 in Hobart, Indiana to the late Tony and Matilda (Nee Schmidt) Springman. On October 5, 1942 Tony married Frances (nee Potts) Springman in Hobart, Indiana.
Tony is survived by his wife, Frances Springman; three sons, Ralph (Sandy) Springman of Chesterton, Richard Springman of Springdale, Arkansas, Roger (Renee) Springman of Provo, Utah; two daughters, Antoinette (Bill) Gilbert of Valparaiso, Linda (Barry) Sadauskas of Plainfield, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren; brother, Henry (Leslie) Springman of South Bend; four sisters, June Dodge of Ankeny, Iowa, Dorothy Smith of Lake Station, Gerry Paul of Merrillville, and Harriet Springman, and many other loving family members and friends.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ralph, Billie and Rudy Springman, and two sisters, Ruth Mohler and Robin Puinti.
