April Lynn Nelson, age 66, of Hobart, Indiana passed away Thursday January 11, 2024. She was born April 4, 1957, in Hobart, Indiana to the late Curtis Wayne and Patty Jean Nelson (nee Manis).
April is survived by her son Jason (Jessica) Nelson, her sister Beth (Jack) Lilly, her brother Michael A. (Chris) Nelson, and six grandchildren.
She is preceded by her parents Curtis Wayne and Patty Jean Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hobart Humane Society, 2054 IN-130 Hobart, Indiana 46342.
A memorial visitation will be held Sunday January 14, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana. For more information, please call (219) 942-2109.
