Arletta Foster (nee Brunker), age 62 of Lake Station passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was born on July 16, 1954 to the late George and Norma Brunker. She was a Lake Station resident most of her life and a member of Portage United Pentecostal Church. Arletta loved to make crafts. She also loved crocheting and singing.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Foster of Hobart, IN; three daughters, Norma (Charles) Peksenak of Hobart, IN; Chrystal (Charles) Shultz of Lake Station, IN; Connie Kolic of Portage, IN; three brothers, Elvin (Patricia) Brunker of TX; Harold (Wanda) Brunker of Crown Point, IN; Jerry Brunker of Portage, IN; two sisters, Erma (Edward) Howard of South Haven, IN; Sheri Brunker of Portage, IN; nine grandchildren, Charles Jr., Dustin, Ryan, Jacob, CJ, Isiah, Jonah, Arletta, Richard, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Theodore, George, John Brunker, and one sister, Linda Sitar.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016, 2:00pm at New Life Community Church, 1 North Pennsylvania Street, Hobart, IN 46342 followed by a Celebration of Life Dinner at the same location. If you can bring a dish it would be greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to help with services.
