Armanda (nee Montorsi) Jones, age 81, of Portage, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 9, 1934 in Gary, Indiana to the late Primo and Rose Montorsi. Armanda enjoyed the simple things in life like playing Bingo and going to the casinos. She loved her dog, Peanut. Above all she cherished spending time with her family and cooking for them. She will always affectionately be remembered as "Pasta-Mama".

Armanda is survived by her sons, Larry Jones, Richard Jones; daughters, Brenda Jones, Lisa (John) Beller; grandchildren, Jessie Jones, Josh Jones, Jamie (Kimberly) Jones, Tracey (Dave) Wilson, Jonathan Beller, Andrew Beller; great grandchildren, Arianna Wilson, Lexus Wilson, Taylor Jones, Jenna Jones; brother, Joseph Montorsi; sister, Linda Franzak; niece, Josephine Wheeler; beloved dog, Peanut.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Primo and Rose Montorsi; beloved husband, Emmitt Jones.

A funeral service for Armanda will take place Friday, March 6, 2015 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342 with Rev. Lourdu Pasala officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
