Arthur "Eugene" Darnold Jr., age 46 of Lake Station passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011. He was born on December 15, 1964 in Hammond, Indiana. Eugene was a former Portage resident and a member of Bible Baptist Church.

He is survived b y his mother, Ann Budimier of Lake Station, IN; 2 sisters, Melony (Travis) Dobsin of Chesterton, IN; Vickie (Randy) Moss of Gary, IN; 3 brothers, David (Bonnie) Nix of Danville, IL; Steven (Kim) Darnold of Topeka, IN; Richard (Dorothy) Darnold of Whiting, IN; and 11 nieces and nephews and 3 great-nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Arthur Darnold, a sister, Marilyn, and step-father, Gene Budimier.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Arthur's mother, Ann Budimier.

Funeral services are Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church, 6659 U.S. Hwy 6, Portage with Pastor Don Good officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
