Arthur J. Reed

Arthur J. Reed, age 79 a longtime Portage resident passed away Monday, July 31, 2023. He was born on February 27, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Jack and Frances Reed. He was a former Highland resident. Arthur served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.. He enjoyed watching TV especially Westerns and game shows.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Reed (nee Grabarek) of Portage, IN; two sons, Michael Deliget of Portage, IN; Thomas P. (Mirta) Reed of Highland, IN; and one grandson, Brett Reed.
He was preceded in death by his son, Edward J. Reed and his sister, Violet Reed.
There will be a committal service on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery Committal Chapel, 2701 Willowdale Road, Portage with Rev. Lourdu Pasala officiating. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel completed arrangements. (219) 762-3013.
