Ashley N. Buffington, age 24, of Hobart passed away Thursday January 30, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. She was born April 11, 1989 in Munster, Indiana to Trent and Kathy (Favuzzo) Buffington. Ashley enjoyed her career as a hair stylist. Ashley was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother Kathy Buffington of Hobart; father Trent Buffington of Gary; brother Trent (Nashell Klich fiancée) of Hobart; Grandparents Patrick Favuzzo of Fishers and Judy (Ron) Ream of Portage; aunt Jenny (Joe) Barron of Berrien Springs, MI, uncle Pat (Terri) Favuzzo of Indianapolis, aunt Connie (Edward) Tarkany of Daphne, AL, aunt Toni Ingram of Tennessee, uncle Mark (Peggy) Buffington of Valparaiso, uncle Barry (Natalie) Buffington of Schererville, uncle Brian Buffington, uncle Greg Buffington of Tennessee, aunt Jackie Dickerson of Merrerville; several cousins, extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.

Memorial services will be 6 pm Monday February 3, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana with Rev. Bob Parnell officiating. Memorial visitation will be Monday from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
