Obituary
Audrey Ruth Paulsen, age 102, passed away peacefully at the Chicagoland Christian Village on January 5, 2015. Audrey was born on July 15, 1912 in Chalmers, Indiana to the late Wallace and Emma (Gilmore) Ward. Audrey was a loving wife and mother that loved reading and raising exotic birds.
Audrey is survived by her loving son, Elmer J. Paulsen of Crown Point/Lake of the Four Seasons and step grandson, Jason (Julianne) Banks of Chicago.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; step father; and two brothers, Carl Ward and John Lucas.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana processing from the funeral home at 10:00 am. Visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2015 from 7-9 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph Street, Winfield/Crown Point, Indiana 46307.
