Audrey A. O'Quinn, age 80, a 60 yr. resident of Hobart, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Prentices Women Center in Chicago, Ill. She was born on May 2, 1931 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Austin and Ova (nee Nicholas) Anderson. Audrey retired as a hand assembler with over 32 years of service for Anderson Company. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Audrey is survived by her loving family; 3 sons William (Debbie) O'Quinn of Chesterton, Philip O'Quinn of Hobart, Barry O'Quinn of Gary, 4 daughters; Linda (Kenneth) Hodge of North Carolina, Cheryl Vannest of Hobart, Tammy O'Quinn of Hobart and Kimberly (Dave)Hardey of Hobart, 2 step-children, Nancy (Dave) Cross of Michigan City, Ron Warkentien Jr. of Hobart; 3 brothers; Frank (Jane) Morrison and Eugene (Kay) Morrison both of West Virginia and Bobby (Sue) Morrison of Ohio, 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and many other loving family members of friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ford Patrick O'Quinn and her parents.
Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home – Cremation services-Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A Burial of Cremains will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Evergreen Memorial Park 3815 W. 39th Avenue- Hobart.
