Barbara "Barb" Hargrove

Barbara “Barb” Hargrove, age 63, of Hobart passed away in her home Monday October 13, 2026. Barbara was born in Monterey, California to William and Barbara (Czilli) Mills. She was a retired Agency Surgical Technician that worked at the Christ Advocate Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Barb loved brunch with her family and spending time with her friends. A Girl’s trip to Vegas was never out of the question.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Bryan Baker) Hargrove of Valparaiso; her mother, Barbara Mills of Hobart; her brother, Steven (Jennifer) Mills of Hobart; and other relatives and dear friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, William Mills; and her husband, William Hargrove.

Memorial visitation for Barbara will be held from 4-6 pm Friday October 23, 2026, at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368. A Memorial Service will follow immediately at the funeral home.
