BARBARA REBECA DIVICH, age 71, of Portage, was born in Chicago on July 3, 1941. Barbara grew up in Gary/Miller Beach area and graduated from Wirt High School. She passed away peacefully in her home in Portage on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Barbara lived a colorful and well-traveled life, accompanied by her many pets that brought much joy to her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Lola Kushner.
Barbara leaves behind her cherished children, Daniel (Sandra) Divich and Debra (George) Settle, great love and memories for her grandsons that she spent so much time with; Daniel II and Nicholas Divich; Cory and Joshua Wurster and step-granddaughter, Kristine Wilkie.
