Barbara J. Frank

Barbara J. Frank, age 72, of Hobart passed away July 31, 2023, in her home with her family at her side. Barbara was born October 1, 1950, in Hammond, Indiana to the late Walter and Lois (Meckling) Wolfe, Jr. She was an office manager that worked at the Hammond Clinic and for Steel Technologies. Barbara attended Assumption BVM Catholic Church in Hobart. She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Melinda (Jerry) Brown, and Stacie Brooks both of Hobart; seven grandchildren, Cynthia, Jeffrey, Catherine, Nicole (Shaye), Leslie, Michael, and Amanda; five great grandchildren, Timothy, Jr., Shawn, Aubree, Natalee and Brycen; her brother, Robert Wolfe of Hammond; two sisters, Dawn Rosario and Susan (Jason) Rupnow both of Wisconsin; two sons-in-law Allen Miller and Robert Brooks; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of fifty years, Frederick Frank; one great grandchild.

Memorial visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm Saturday August 5, 2023, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. A Memorial Service will follow immediately at 1:00 pm with Rev. Lourdu Pasala officiating.
