Barbara Jean Hacker, age 59, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Porter Regency in Portage.  She was born on December 21, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to the late William and Bernice Hayne.  Barbara's hobbies included playing BINGO and spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Wallace Hacker; son, Wallace (Nikki) Hacker, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Lee (Robert) Wilson; four granddaughters , Samantha Jean and Madison Jordan Wilson, Corie Elizabeth and London Alyse Hacker; three special grandsons, Max, Leonard and Jaden; three sisters, Sue (Robert) Hale, Brenda Berry and Pat Brown.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Rosko Brown and William Hayne.

In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.

A funeral service for Barbara will take place Monday, October 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Bob Burton officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W.
