Barbara J. Jordan, age 86 of Portage, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was born on February 15, 1937, in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Mary Moore. Barbara retired from Anderson Company where she worked as a line assembler.

She is survived by her son, Kurt (Jane) Jordan; daughter, Kim (Tony) Santillan; brother, Richard Moore; sister, Kay George; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clement Jordan; and her son, Kevin Jordan.

Her ashes will be inurned in a columbarium at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Michigan City. Cremation was entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
