Barbara Mae McGehee (nee, Hull), age 65 of Valparaiso passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was born on November 30, 1947 to Robert and Ruby Hull. She was a long time Valparaiso resident coming from Kentucky. Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering at the Church of Jesus Christ Food Pantry in South Haven where she was a dedicated member. She also enjoyed being a grandma and great-grandma; she will be dearly missed by all.

She is survived by her mother, Ruby Hull; husband , Billy McGehee of Valparaiso, IN; 7 children, Tammy (Randy) Westmoreland, Steve (Donna) White, Dan (Lisa) White, all of Valparaiso; Roger (Debbie) McGehee, Surgeonsville, TN; Sandy (Keith) Jennings, Greenville, KY; Jeff (Kim) McGehee, Portage, IN; Tammy (Dean) Dodge, Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Randy (fiancée, Marissa), Ricky (Melanie), Barbara (Michael), Steven, Zachary, Sarah, Daniel (fiancée, Katie), Elisabeth, Hannah, Jeff (Dawn), Jeremy, Jennifer (Jody), Timmy (Jennifer), Jason, Michael (Barbara), Matt, Josh (fiancée, Jessica), Deric; great-grandchildren, Macie, Joey, Baylee, Bella, Jax, Ava, Andrew, Jacob, Julie, Kayla and Chase; brother, Richard (Debbie) Hull, sister, Carla (Deon) Gobin all of Portage, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hull and brother, Ray Hull.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are preferred to help with funeral expenses.

There will be a Funeral Service on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, with Rev. Randy Westmoreland Officiating; Burial will be at Heritage Cemetery.
