Barbara C. Reese

Barbara C. Reese, age 90, of Hobart passed away Sunday August 31, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Barbara was born December 26, 1934, in Gary, Indiana to the late Walter and Florence (Hobetski) Romanowski. She was homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She loved swimming, golfing, and caring for her home and family.

Barbara is survived by her children, Mark (Susan) Reese of Fishers, Brian (Laura) Reese of Hobart, and Pamela Smrzlick of Hobart; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many other dear friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Cecil Reese.

A memorial visitation will be held from 9-11 am Saturday September 13, 2025, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Barbara wished to be cremated.
