Barbara Lane Scully

BARBARA L. SCULLY (nee Jackson), age 92, of Ogden Dunes, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the VNA Hospice. She was born in Gary, Indiana on November 4, 1921 to the late Ollie Mae and Malcolm Jackson. Barbara had been a resident of Ogden Dunes since 1954. She was a homemaker. She attended Emerson School and graduated in 1939. Barbara then attended the University of Pennsylvania. She was a charter member of the Ogden Dunes Community Church – Presbyterian.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon E. Johnson; sister, Joyce (the late Robert) Frazier of Valparaiso; brother-in-law, Lawrence Quigley of Chesterton; many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, William M. Scully; son, David W. Scully, and sister, Harriet Ann Quigley.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt who will be missed by her family and friends. A private memorial service will take place at the Ogden Dunes Community Church at a later date.
