Becky Woodard, age 66, of Hobart passed away Thursday February 16, 2023, at Northwest Health-Porter in Valparaiso. Becky was born January 6, 1957, in Gary, Indiana to the late Clayton and Vivian (Reeves) Taylor. She was a long-time employee of Bob Evans Restaurant in Valparaiso. Becky was a devout member of Liverpool Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and sewing. Becky was a friend to everyone she met, a real people person.

Becky is survived by her two children, Jason (Stephanie) Woodard of Hobart and Tracie (Andrew) Worden of LaPorte; two brothers, Bob Taylor and Boyd Taylor; four grandchildren, Elias and Andlynn Worden, and Peyton and Connor Woodard; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her beloved husband James; her parents; three brothers, Billie Joe, Bruce, and Boyce Taylor; and her sister, Brenda Taylor.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday February 21, 2023, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Funeral  Services will follow immediately at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home with Pastor Don Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery Valparaiso, Indiana.
