Belinda "Boobie" Davis, age 57, of Merrillville, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the University of Illinois Chicago Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1956 in Bessemer, Alabama to the late William Nalley and Patricia Nelson.

Belinda is survived by her husband of 39 years, Walter; brother, William Lewis (Cindra) Nalley Jr.; children, Choa (Precius) Davis and Angelic (Anthony) Bland; grandchildren, Louis Craig, Joshua Davis, Anthony Davis, Da'Vante Banks, Elijah Davis, Cameron Davis, Emani Peters and Belinda Peters; great grandchild, Alaina Davis and one great grandchild on the way.

Belinda was preceded in death by her parents, William Nalley and Patricia Nelson; sister, Shirley Ann Nalley-Ortiz and daughter, Patricia Maria Davis. Memorial contributions in Belinda's name may be made to the family.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue Lake Station, Indiana with Pastor officiating. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
