Benita Marie Wilbur, age 52 of Portage passed away Sunday September 1, 2013. She was born on September 16, 1960 in Gary Indiana.
She is survived by her mother, Norma Osborn of Portage, IN; father, Roger Wilbur; 1 daughter, Kitt Boles of Valparaiso, IN; 1 sister, Cassi (Jim) Ballard of GA; 1 brother, Mark Wilbur of Portage, IN; significant other, Howard Sassman of Portage, IN; 2 aunts, Ruth Ann (Charlie) Osborn of Fort Wayne, IN; Karen (Ron) Hotchkiss of Portage, IN; family friend, Henry Bucholtz of Portage, IN. She graduated from Portage High School in 1978.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Rogers and her brother, Michael Wilbur.
