Bernadette L. Grigonis, age 75, of Burke, VA and formerly of Gary, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Bernadette was born on January 27, 1948 in Gary, IN to the late Anthony and Anne (nee Zoleckas) Grigonis. She was a graduate of Emerson High School, Class of 1966 and earned her bachelor's degree at George Mason University in Fairfax County, Virginia. Bernadette worked at the Central Intelligence Agency at Langely Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Bernadette was a member of Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, VA. She was very devoted to studying the Bible. Bernadette was a loving sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Bernadette is survived by her sisters: Janice Joyce of Chesterton, IN and Nancy (John) Elman of Warsaw, IN; with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Bernadette is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Anne.

Funeral services for Bernadette are private. She will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
