Bernice M. Wells, age 95, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015. She was born in Hobart on August 4, 1919 to the late Eric A. and Theresa Moll. She retired in 1985 after 20 years of service as a teller supervisor at the Hobart Branch of Bank One. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and active in the Ladies Missionary League, Century and Sable, Sigma Alpha Gamma Sorority and Saint Mary Medical Center Pink Ladies. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Bernice is survived by her 4 children, James (Ethel) Wells of Portage, Lorilei (Ronald) Moore of West Burlington, IA, Cynthia Homan of North Judson, Chuck (Jane Pallas) Wells of South Bend; former daughter-in-law, Nila Wells; 9 grandchildren, Geoff Wells, Susan (Bill) Lackey, Matthew (Angela) Moore, Mark (Charity) Moore, Dawn (James) Luedtke, Carrie (Lyndon) Block, Jennifer Homan, Charlie (Jessica) Wells, Kristi (Tim) Reed, 14 great- grandchildren, Sarah and Hannah Lackey, Alexis and Cara Hawley, Kaleb, Keegan, Kristian and Kyla Moore, Jacob Luedtke, Megan and Logan Block, Kaleb Howard and Kailyn Homan, and Sydney Reed; sister-in-law, Patti Moll; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wells and brother, Walter Moll.

A funeral service for Bernice will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 900 Luther Drive, Hobart, with Rev. Gary S. Nagy officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a St. Mary Medical Center Auxiliary service at 4:30 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W.
