Bessie Evanovich

Bessie Evanovich, age 76, of Portage, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015. She was born on January 17, 1939 in Gary, Indiana to John and Katie Evanovich. She enjoyed playing Bingo and making crafts.

She is survived by her son: Jerry Evanovich; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters: Mildred Campbell, Violet Tluczek, Dorothy Nafes.

Bessie is preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service for Bessie will take place Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN with Rev. Andrew J. Corona officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
