age 79, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at VNA Hospice in Valparaiso, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 19,1932 the daughter of Lawson and Hallie Hoskins in Norris City, Illinois.
Betty is survived by her 2 daughters; Nancy (Larry) Achten of Valparaiso, IN, Cynthia Abdo of DeMotte, IN. 1 step-daughter
Roseann (Ron) Keiser of Hobart, IN., 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; Dave (Carole) Hoskins of Mississippi, James (Beverly) Hoskins of Lake Station, IN, 1 sister; Linda (George) Grimberg of Mount Dora, Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Michael Goranovich Sr.; 2 sons; James L. and Michael Goranovich Jr., 1 daughter; Linda Timmons, and 1 sister Joyce Rodrick.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
Visitation is Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with funeral service at 6:00 p.m. with family friend Jason Kegebein officiating at Rees funeral home, BRADY CHAPEL, 3781 Central Ave. Lake Station.
