Betty J. Koritko (nee Morris), age 88 a lifetime Hobart resident passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018.  She was born on February 15, 1930 in Hobart Indiana to the late Harry and Frances Morris.  Betty was a longtime member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and loved taking care of her family.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Koritko of Union Mills, IN; Andrew (Arlene) Koritko of Hobart, IN; two daughters, Deborah J. (Timothy) Gleason of Anthem, AZ; Shirley (William Sr.) Kavarie of Valparaiso, IN;

One sister, Shirley Crawford of Vicksburg, MI; ten grandchildren, Sarah (Tom) Armbrust, Timmy (Vicki) Gleason, Kelly Smith, William (Jennifer) Kavarie Jr., Robert (Tina) Koritko, Heather (Danny) Kneifel, Andrew (Kelli) Koritko, Elizabeth Koritko, Thomas Koritko III, and Katelynn Kavarie, great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Alexis, Layla, Landon, Grayson, Logan ,Tyler, Emma, Cole, Mack,  Kylie, Reina, Delilah, Dylan, and Rowan, great- great-grandson, Joseph, and several nieces and nephews. .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Koritko Sr., one son, Thomas D. Koritko, Jr, two brothers, Harry Morris Jr., Woodrow Morris, one sister, Mary Munson.

Visitation is Monday, March 12, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.  Funeral services are Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6240 Grand Blvd. Hobart with Rev. Frederic Lams officiating. Additional visitation will be Tuesday at the church just prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
