Betty L. Willis (nee Kacin), age 94, of Dayton, TX and formerly of Lake Station, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

Betty was born on June 4, 1927 in Gary, IN to the late Joseph and Mabel (nee Sorem) Kacin.  She was a homemaker and doted on her late husband, Earl, and her children.  Betty bowled on a league in Miller, IN and was talented in oil painting.  She was a homebody and loved to plant flowers outside of her home.  She also enjoyed playing Scrabble.  Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and even great-great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Betty is survived by her daughters: Linda Cyprian, Catherine (Don) Bunning, and Diane (Norman) Kirby; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her right-hand man and nephew: Rick (Kathy) Dillin.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband: Earl; son: Dennis Willis; and sister: Rosella Simons.

There are no funeral services scheduled at this time.  A Committal Service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
