Beverly A. Burney Lake

Beverly Ann Lake, age 59 of Portage, passed away March 23, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1965, in Harvey, Illinois to Aaron and Paulette Burney. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. She was a strong-willed woman who enjoyed singing karaoke and playing video games. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Lake; daughter, Stephanie (Joe Broszka) Lake; son, Christopher Lake; parents, Aaron and Paulette Burney; sisters, Laura Burney, Michelle (Jason) Goad; brother, David (Kelly) Burney; fur babies, Zull, Harry Potter, and Chance; and many nieces, nephews and family members.

Visitation for Beverly will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
