Beverly June Hunter
Age 81, passed away August 6, 2014 at VNA Hospice in Valparaiso surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 10, 1933 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Ora and Margaret Brooks. Beverly was a retired inspector for Taylor Chain Co. in Hammond, and a member of Central Avenue Church of God. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Beverly is survived by her three sons; Dennis, Jerry Lee and Theodore Ray (Mary) Hunter, three daughters; Bonnie (Daryl) Thomas, Joann Erwin and Linda Erwin, nine grandchildren; Emily, Jamie, Michael. Jerry Jr., Tiffany, Robbie, Bev Kay, Eric and Sean, eight siblings; Marie and Norma Roth, Jim (Gloria) Hill, Pat (Lyman) Brown, Lester and Linda Brooks, Ken Brooks and Ron (Barbara) Gillings and many other loving family members and friends.
Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Harvey Hunter.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10am with Pastor Jerry Martin officiating at Calvary Cemetery, 2701 Willowdale Rd, Portage, Indiana 46368.
