Beverly Petruzelli, age 80, of Lake Station, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on April 20, 1941 to the late Mack and Annabelle (nee Brown) Petruzelli.  Beverly was a devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Lake Station.  She enjoyed Notre Dame football, collecting ballerinas, and traveling.  She loved to dance, especially with her great friend, Joe Stevens.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Joseph) Carlin, Beth Ann (Jeffrey) Hennings; son, Todd Anthony Filipas; grandchildren, Anthony, Kara, Stormy, Alexander, Carrie; great grandchildren, Anthony Michael, Antonio, Marissa; grand dogs, Gizzi and Sporty; sister-in-law, Mary Petruzelli-Gal; lifelong friend, Sharon Dick; several nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Filipas; brother Lawrence Petruzelli; sister, Yvonne Petruzelli; and her parents.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:00 am with Rev. Jaime Perea officiating at St. Francis Xavier, 2447 Putnam St. Lake Station, IN 46405.  She will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.  For more information, please call 219-762-3013.
